I'm from Taiwan, and that by itself says that i LOVE food! haha, i cook a lot by myself because I just can't find the same taste here in any restaurant... if you like cooking as well, then we can definitely teach each other some tricks and eat together as the reward! ps, if you are Taiwanese as well, some snacks from Taiwan are HIGHLY welcomed :P

A student now at University of Toronto, so times of accepting guest is very unstable (all depends on midterms and grades). Moved to Toronto for education but i loved the city! Although it is cold and you feel miserable sometimes when the weather is bad and you think the world has something against you, Toronto is an AMAZING city with so much diversity! I live downtown and it has been such an amazing experience! I can for sure take you around if time fits~ the only thing i hold a grudge against is the inconvenience of not having a car... it's so annoying when that happens... However, because i live downtown and doesn't have a car, so i wouldn't be able to take you around a lot. yet i can draw a beautiful map of downtown Toronto for you to explore!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's been around for sometime and I've always wanted to try. Kept hearing good stories about it so finally decide to give it a try! Just love the idea of meeting new people and saving money! 2 of my hobbies, haha.

Music, Movies, and Books

Recently got into books or movies that are not so commercial. I recently fell in love with West world!!!

but generally i really enjoy reading or watching philosophical but not horrifying topics, they really made me think about things that the me last year would never thought about. i don't really read books that much... like the average teenager out there, i listen to music, go to clubs, watch movies, shop online, and so on.

however, i do really enjoy writing, as in writing with your hands instead of typing. handwriting has warmth contained between every stroke on the paper. i write calligraphy now and then.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping, the view and experience is spectacular.

i think coming to Toronto can also be one, although sometimes i doubt my decision, sometimes i think about other alternatives, but i never regretted it. it is so life changing and i completely did it following my heart. any other university would be a completely different city, different people, different scenery, different experiences, and possibly different life. for better or worse, i have only one path in front of me, and that is walking straight!
