About Me
CURRENT MISSION
The world is a book and those who do not travel, read only one page.
ABOUT ME
Ahh where, oh where to begin. I am an individual who cannot stay in one place for too long. After graduating from MSU, I lived in the Black Hills for a year, then moved to KC and I already have the urge for something new and exciting. I have this deep seated need inside my soul to adventure and ramble around this world. I currently hold a "grown up" job as a first grade teacher at an alternative school in Kansas City. I love the challenges and rewards that I face and receive each day. My goal is to teach ESL in South America next year (keeping fingers crossed). I have been fortunate to have traveled Italy, France, Spain, and Monte Carlo. All very beautiful places but I crave a much more uncivilized, simplistic region.
PHILOSOPHY
"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing." - Helen Keller

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read. Recent favorites are Cormac McCarthy books. And The Historian. As for music, I love little unknown indie bands.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming in the Mediterranean Sea in the middle of the night. Nothing is more frightening than not being able to see what is around you!
