ABOUT ME
I am no longer accepting guests as I am selling my house and moving to Yreka, CA.
I love to be around people and socialize and then I need my alone time as well. I'm pretty busy and active. Sitting for long periods of time, other than in front of my computer, doesn't happen much. I love small towns and nature lots more than the city. What I love about Ashland is that there is as much cultural happenings here as any city without the traffic and long drive to get there. I also love the sense of community we have here. No matter where I go, I run into people I know.

I am highly allergic to fragrance of any kind. That includes flowers, essential oils, strong shampoos and soaps, and perfume. I cannot host you if you use or carry in your luggage any of the above.

I just retired from producing folk music concerts, so music is really important to me. My animals also. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and 5 chickens at home and 7 goats and 1 horse boarded at a friend's pasture. I milk 5 of the goats and sell all that I get. Riding my horse 2 or 3 times a week gets me out in nature and helps keep my life in balance. I have an active spiritual life -- belong to Havurah Shir Hadash, a Jewish Renewal congregation, attend Unity sometimes, attend Sufi events, and a non-denominational Monday Night Meditation.

Traveled on faith and little money back in the 80s. Landed in Maui with $15 left. Met all kinds of great people and had a job within a week.
