I am a curious and energetic person who loves to explore the area around her, be it mountains, forests, wetlands, cities/towns/villages, etc. It doesn't matter where, so long as I can go outdoors and wander around.
I also love music and learning to play various instruments.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am looking for a way to meet local people and get a better feel/understanding of a place than is otherwise feasible. I was introduced to couchsurfing a couple years ago and found that it is a great way to meet people, both as a host and guest.

I am a fan of musicals and movie soundtracks, classical music and classic rock, various traditional styles and singer-song-writers who put random dreams to song (Dar Williams is the woman!).
I've recently decided that movies are too long, but still appreciate sci-fi and fantasy films/shows and the same genres go for books. Satires are also amazing, and books that are well written on subjects one might not normally be exposed to, like the effects of music on the brain, or a woman's obsession with octopuses.
