Currently in Munich, Germany. I'm a big traveler and I love learning about the history and traditional culture in the places I visit. After a couple of years living in Hanoi, Vietnam, I'm ready for a very different year. I'm going out of my comfort zone, loose plans, and no certain home bases. My mission for 2020 is traveling around Europe and learning about traditional embroidery techniques and the meaning behind them. Next stop is Georgia!

I used to be so shy when I was younger! But over the years, I get more and more comfortable meeting new people and now I love it. People are so fascinating. And everyone has something to share, a new perspective to consider and even a quick, chance encounter can have an impact on you. I've met some amazing people in my travels and I want to continue to meet interesting people, especially those that are so open to the world through things like Couchsurfing.

I am very interested in traditional culture and spirituality around the world. I get excited about things like ancient languages, magical stitches, and forgotten folk songs. These things are like puzzle pieces for me, each piece helping me understand our world and what it means to be a human here. I want to hear about your traditions, stories, symbols, songs...anything that connects you with your culture. And I'll be happy to share my experiences as well.

Tales of adventure and glory! Just kidding.. : ) I've been to a fair share of places in the world and can share lots of tips and tricks for traveling/living in different places. I can cook for us. I can teach you basic embroidery if you're interested.
