Hi, I’m Arif from Turkey I’m 21 years old and I’m studying economics at Boğaziçi university, Istanbul.
I love traveling the world, seeing new places, seeing new cultures, tasting new food and of course making new friends from all the cultures. The thing I like the most about Couchsurfing is that it brings all of the people with different personalities from different cultures together in a peaceful environment. All people have different stories and different backgrounds, I love hearing those stories and telling them my stories. I think what makes a country special is that its special people besides history and of course food lol. If I would tell you about myself more, I love reading books, watching movies and listening to music( mostly hip-hop, techno, soul, jazz and classical but, I listen to every genre actually). AND I LIKE TO TALK A LOT :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and meeting with new people that’s why I’m using Couchsurfing. Like I told you on the title "about me" this app brings all of the people together to share our stories and this is a wonderful experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled alone to Serbia when I was 19 which was a big deal for me then. I drank 8 bottles of beer in one sitting lol

I know Turkish and English but I like learning new languages. I'm learning Spanish now. Besides languages I like to share the culture and experiences human to human.
