I love philosophy and the arts, walking, reading, listening, watching, and people above all. I’m interested in how we believe in the world and make that world in our belief, and in the art and practice of everyday living.

I’ve come to China with no plan but to follow my passion in gong-fu tea and hopefully learn to be a teaware craftsman. I always have a set with me so if you host me we can drink endless Puerh till the cows come home 😏

As well as the normal fare of wanting a real, lived in place to rest my head, i think that couchsurfing is the best way to understand other people and cultures and simply to be with them in the normal motions of their lives.

I am an easygoing and adaptable guest, suited to silence or conversation, and am willing to take the best and worst conditions openly
