Well, I travelled quite a lot with my parents when I was a girl. Now I grew up and understood that all these tourist guides do not give you the main thing you want to learn while travelling - how do the local people live and what the life is like for them. So, Couchsurfing gives one an opportunity to get inside the life of foreigners, to make friends, to chat and to share experience :)
