CURRENT MISSION

The day after our college finals my boyfriend and I are traveling from California Coast, our home, to Colorado to visit a good buddy. Along the way we're stopping at all national parks possible. Going through northern Arizona, NW New Mexico and up.

ABOUT ME

Jet and Ari are our names. We enjoy traveling at a leisurely pace and haven't done so in a while. We are looking to relax, to learn about what's near us and for adventures. We are a couple who prefer our privacy but can also be very sociable under the right circumstances. If you don't have a problem with us we won't have one with you. We are open-minded and hope others are as such.

PHILOSOPHY

I live because I was put here. I try to give back as much as I can. I think most people deserve to be here and as long as people respect others life could be better than it is. If I'm causing no harm why should it bother you. And vice versa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would like a free place to stay because we are college students both working when not in school. This can help everyone save money especially when we will be spending most of ours on gas. We have a tiny house and welcome people willing to give it a try.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was much younger I went with my church group from Maine to NY and stayed with a nice family while we the group provided services at a local soup kitchen. I've also stayed with friends of a friend in Willits, CA. That was one experience I won't forget.

Interests

Outdoor adventures, hiking, biking, kayaking, geology, plants, animals, history of the area, reservations, comfort. National Parks and other recreation areas are our main goals.

There are so many possible answers to that and I don't feel like typing it all in. Interested in almost everything as long as it isn't popular for the sake of being popular. If it's good we're interested.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All I could see were the buffalo's eyes so I knew he was watching me too. About fifteen feet away there were two of them minutes before sunrise and no one else around. They would make their way across the campground barely making noise for such large beasts. We stared at each for an eternity, then they were gone.
