About Me

Hi there!

I’ve been working as a teacher at a special needs school in Japan for 10 years. I currently teach and learn alongside children with disabilities, and I absolutely love my job. It’s incredibly fulfilling, and every day brings something meaningful.

When my students take their long summer and winter breaks, I use that time to explore the world. Traveling abroad is one of my greatest passions—I’ve visited 18 countries so far! I have a special love for U.S. national parks and have been to the United States seven times, often exploring its breathtaking landscapes.

I also enjoy trying new experiences, as they offer fresh perspectives and help me grow as a person. Beyond sightseeing, my favorite part of traveling is meeting locals and forming genuine connections. I believe these interactions are what make a trip truly unforgettable.

That’s why I decided to join Couchsurfing! I’m still a beginner here, but I’m excited about the chance to meet people from all walks of life and create wonderful memories together.

Looking forward to connecting with you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve always believed that the most meaningful part of traveling is connecting with people. While I love exploring new places and experiencing different cultures, I’ve found that the memories I treasure most are the ones involving human connections—meeting locals, learning about their daily lives, and sharing stories.

I first heard about Couchsurfing as a way to not only travel affordably but also to create these deeper, authentic connections. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to step beyond being just a tourist and truly immerse myself in the local culture.

I’m also someone who loves new experiences and personal growth, and I believe that stepping out of my comfort zone is the best way to learn. Couchsurfing offers a chance to do just that, by meeting people from different walks of life and sharing unique moments with them.

I’m excited to be part of this community and to see how it can add a new dimension to my travels!
