Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Aris and i love learning about foreign culture and people. For me, the best way to recognize a country is not only on how they look like in general, but also understanding on how native people think and their opinion about their own country. The spirit of a country lies in the hearts of its people!
If that looking too serious to you, then we can talk about anything. I'm open to all kind of topics! And if you want to talk stupid and comedy stuff, i would gladly hear it too lol.
Interests
I'm an Architect and i'm interested in foreign buildings and their architecture styles. Architecture isn't only limited on buildings; you can learn many things from it, for example how different culture and climate affects a building style. Every country have different culture so i'm excited to see them and what new things i'm going to learn and found. That's what i want to learn beside of making new friends from around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to Sade, DeBarge, Michael Jackson, and other oldies and classics. Mainly 80's and 90's songs, jazz, funk, and r&b. I read philosophy books, for example "Each Moment is the Universe" by Dainin Katagiri. It's a very good book on how to meditate and appreciate things in the present moment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have a lot, but the most amazing thing that happened to me recently is winning an international architecture competition and acquiring my Master of Architecture degree. It was tough with covid stuff, but i'm finally managed to finish everything.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you want to know what kind of person and personality that i have, i'm quite warm, social, and empathetic. I won't do something that only benefits to myself, i love doing something that also benefits to other people around me. If i'm managed to live in your place, i'll absolutely love to help things like cleaning, cooking food, and stuff! Just let me know. And also, i'll bring you some indonesian souvenirs and cultural stuff (if i'm able to) as a thank you gift for your hospitality. There's nothing more generous than letting someone stay in your place, while talking and learning about your country together!
