Hello! I love immersing myself in new cultures and am always looking to learn new things everyday. Pardon my very blank profile because I'm quite new to this, but I'm embarking on my first solo trip ever and am very excited to make friends along the way.

I'm 28 and am close to having a mid-life crisis, only realising now that I've not lived my life to the fullest. Thus I'm intending to live my next couple of years experiencing new things, making new friends, eating new food.

I think the best way to explore a new place is through the eyes of a local. I've not hosted yet, but some day I will. It's definitely a great way to meet people from around the world.

Unfortunately, I'm not accepting guests at the moment because I live with my family and I'm not sure they'll be comfortable with the idea of couchsurfing (but am working on it!). However, if you plan a visit to Singapore, we can always meet up for coffee!

Live music, karaoke, coffee, tv, movies, musicals and cats (however not so much Cats the musical. I know, its weird.). I also really love to eat. So if you love food, I'll probably love you too.

I love me some Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, Foo Fighters, as well as Jessie Ware, Kimbra, The Internet, Drake...I can talk about anything when it comes to music actually! I can name you a hundred artists that I enjoy and I won't be close to being done.

I'm proud to be able to say that I've truly chased the Aurora Borealis in Tromso, Norway, all the way to the Finnish border!

I've tried to learn basic French in university but have failed miserably to keep it up because where I live, I can't order a cake or ask where the library is...in French.
