About Me

We will be hosting in Quebec and Sri Lanka (depending on where we are living)

•Currently living in a barn and able to host in St-Paulin with my girlfriend (French)- both of us are using the same account separately.

We are surrounded by nature and there is plenty of space for caravans and tents.
We are moving towards a self-sufficient way of living, we are vegans at the present but open to eat what ever is on the table and we always have food for visitors. We would like to share whatever we are eating with our guests, but if you have any food preferences, be welcomed to bring your food.

We have inflatable mattresses up to a certain amount of people if you are traveling without camping gear.

If you need any help with transportation, let us know beforehand and we will arrange accordingly to our convenience.

.......................................................

Arith- Traveling and adventuring has been a major part of my life since childhood. Having lived in different counties for my higher education/ university studies gave me a great exposure to see the world as it is and discover my self for who I am with more clarity.

My curiosity and spirit of adventure then led me to begin an solo expedition, to travel the entire Australian continent by bicycle which took me over 1.8 years. Living off the basic essential human needs and crossing the vast Australian outback, which includes of bone dry deserts, sand storms, crossing crocodile infested rivers by foot to beautiful lush green rain forests and sleeping under the starts with no other human on site showed me an undiscovered beauty of mother earth. And another reason to be grateful for what surrounds us.
Having backpacked, hitchhiked and cycled over 25,000km in this mother earth, travelling is now a part of my life. Also journey which allows me to meet more free spirited people and beautiful souls on the road.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its such a great platform to meet the like minded and to learn from each other. Good or bad what ever it is. I have made life long friends in here and continued to meet each other in the most unexpected places. So why no be on couchsurfing?! haha

Interests

Creativity and anything to do outdoors. I find my self mostly on the bicycle or walking bear feet in the forest practicing yoga and meditaion, I'm also an armature rock climber, certified PADI dive master.

Music, Movies, and Books

It really depends on the mood. The taste varies from instrumental music, classical, alternative to reggae. Was a big fan of trance/psytrance before, but now I find my self listening to more mellowed down music mostly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Setting my mind up many years ago and growing a pair of balls to say no to everything, and stepping out of my comfort zone with a back pack! haha

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to teach and share anything I know and experienced. Could be tips of mediation to fixing a pushbike. Lets talk about it more when we see each other!
