I live with my 2 dogs Dottie and Paddy, rooster Ken Kukkeli and 2 chicks, Mother Kelly & Geraldine (stay in chick house and in the garden).
My working hours are not like 9-2-5 but work very irregular hours, any time of the day, sometimes nights as well.
There are 2 bedrooms in my house and large living area, and of course a sauna this being a Finnish house.
This is a rural area, nice and quiet but not a sleepy village though. Lake Kotajärvi is very near my house, a short walk to the lake. I also have a rowing boat by the lake.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do like to meet people, have heard a lot of good feed back on couch surfing. CS is a splendid way of meeting new people from different countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like WOMAD kind of music, earthy, non-commercial music but music created with heart. Movies....I prefer comedy and romance as there is enough violence and vile people in this world, but I don't have time for TV that much as I have my life to live, animals to take care of.
Books...I've been studying while working like since year 2003 having odd year off but at this moment my fav reading is Donald Duck. Why to study...think I was addicted to learn more. Now chilling out and learning from my favorite cartoon character how to live your life :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been lucky to have animals who are able to help people. I've had dogs working as official Pets As Therapy -dogs and at the moment I've got a therapy rooster who visits care homes and a hospital ward. There are things in life money cannot buy.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I could teach or share....
I know of some Finnish Sign language, so the basics I could easily teach for you. I know my kitchen rather well, so could teach some Finnish cooking for you, though my Finnish cooking might have an English twist as years back was working 6mths in an English kitchen, so learnt a lot during that 6 mths time.
I could share some good real life stories on my animals working as therapists. At this moment I have a therapy rooster, he is amazing boy, my Ken (@kenkukkeli / instagram, should you wish to see him).
