Always wanting to discover new places, cultures and meeting people to experience something new. I'm laidback, open, adapting a bit to other people, can be calm, but also like spontaneous weird ideas.
I like the nature and the outdoors as much as the business, diversity and culture of a city. I like going for a drink and talk at a bar or pub, see live music at a venue or festival, go out dancing, make a hike or camping trip in nature. Or stay home cook some nice food, play a boardgame, watch a movie...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Twice had someone staying with me and my housemates, whom turned out to become really good friends of ours.
In Thailand I stayed over with the local families of two friends! It was great to see the way they live, be shown around, go to the temple with them, have dinner and get some explanation about their culture.
While settling in in Melbourne, AU and Christchurch, NZ I surfed with several people to make friends and learn about the place and also went to some meet ups.

Climbing on a via ferrata track on the Montserrat mountain near Barcelona, Catalonia; a 4WD camping trip on Fraser Island, Australia; playing Ninja Destruction (a game) with a bunch of backpackers and locals in a park in Melaka, Malaysia

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Exchange languages, cooking skills. Do sports together. I could teach some snowboarding though that's difficult while couchsurfing. I still want to learn to dance salsa some day and improve anything I can already do a bit.
