Hello! I am an American (from Virginia), lived and studied in the United Kingdom for seven years, and now live in New York. A friend recommended it to meet people on a trip in 2019 (to Portugal and Spain) and met a lot of amazing people. In France and solo traveling for a couple days and hoped it was still a great community.

I am a historian and I try to see places from the perspective of both the past and the present.

I'm eager to meet new people, experience new places, and try new foods. I really enjoy rock climbing and cooking, but sadly not likely going to have time for either on this trip.

I'm of course trying to learn more about wines!

I have housing sorted - I am looking for conversations, not looking for a place to stay!
