Hello!

I'm Arek, traveller from Poland. "A rolling stone gathers no moss" - that words describe me in best way, because one of the thing I live on and I'm addicted to is permanent action. I'm a sort of person who feel that inside have enough energy to crush the Earth on pieces and put it once again together with adhesive tape, to build new, better world :)

I'm really like to do something more with my live so I had decided to challenge myself, quite jobs, left quite comfortable live and travel from Tierra del Fuego in South America to Arctic Circle in Canada through South, Latin and North America. I hope to meet a lot of inspiring people and shake many hands :) It won't happen without you!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

For me most important thing in travelling is meeting new people and feeling different cultures (every of them I absorb like a sponge, to know it deeply and truly, to know even smallest aspect of it) Is there better way than CS? :)

Intereses

I spend a lot of my time travelling. I love trekking in mountains, backpacking and hitchhiking - it's only way to get to know people and country, to know it inside out. I am interested also in astronomy, jugglery, poi (sort of dance with fire) and slacklining. But a huge part of my attention absorbs art, especially socially engaged art, street art and "most important art" - cinema :)

Music - every type of rock! But also folk, some jazz & alternative. Generally good music :)
Movies - too much to write it down! From Tarantino to Kurosawa, from Kubrick to Bergman. From american B-class movies to italian neorealism. Woody Allen, Martin Scorsese Coen brothers. Amelia, Into the Wild, Star Wars :)
