I'm a pianist from Estonia on a mission to explore the world as a local and avoid being an another tourist. I have studied music for 13 years now and I love it (but I still can't sing at all :D). At the moment I am giving concerts mostly in Estonia with my piano duet (check it out: www.aapianoduo.com). Together we really often visit different schools and present classical music to pupils, we try to make classical music as interesting as possible to ordinary people.

Currently I am studying in Estonian Aviation Academy to become a pilot. Aviation is my other huge passion and that is probably another reason why I love travelling as much as I do. And I also love sports: football (I have played it for over 10 years), running (I have run quite a few marathons), skiing, etc. That's why one of my main principles of living is "Mens sana in corpore sano".

When travelling, I'm looking for good company, I like to taste local food (and wine) and learn a bit of local language (sadly I'm quite a slow learner) or just hear out locals' amazing stories. It's easy to impress me, I promise!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a wonderful way to travel and not as an usual tourist but with an opportunity to have a view to foreign people's everyday life and culture. And not to mention tons and tons of interesting stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like variety of books, I'll just give a few examples: Dostoyevsky's "Crime and punishment", Jerome K. Jerome's both "Three men..." books with enormous amount of English humour. Also all kinds of travel books etc.

Same story with the movies, but I personally enjoy (lame) comedies and horror movies the most.

Since I have been a classical pianist for ages, I love classical music a lot but depending on my mood, I can listen to basically everything
