I am 22 and currently live in Okinawa, Japan. I have lived in 5 different places since graduating high school and I love moving around. I really enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures and lifestyles. Everyone impacts your life in some way and the more people you meet the broader a perspective you have on life. I am excited to use couch surfing for its potential to introduce me to new awesome people I, otherwise, would not have met.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel by myself often, and have learned its nicer when you know or meet someone in the area. It does aid financially as well, but most importantly to me is the experience and help of meeting a local in whatever area I wish to travel.

Interests

My interests are mainly composed of outdoor activities. I love swimming and scuba diving. I also love hiking and being in nature (i.e. camping, fishing,spelunking etc). I do like to work out and run as well. There are also those days where I just enjoy laying around and reading a book, but I do not own a tv or any gaming consoles. My favorite thing to do though, is travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book has been Ender's game for as long as I can remember. When I read it as a kid I enjoyed the twists and excitement of a young kid traveling to space and fighting the aliens.
Recently I enjoyed Catch 22, and Intellectuals and Society. One comical exciting fiction novel, and another that offers a great perspective on America's current social tendencies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be very social, and enjoy all variety of conversation. I can also be quiet and stick to myself, if that is what the host prefers. I travel light and am very clean. I was raised with great manners and a general respect for people willing to go out on a limb for me. I am also up for an adventure at any time. Willing to answer any questions prior to visiting, and will be upfront and honest. I appreciate you opening your home so that I can do what I love most!
