I am married. With my wife Jacqueline, we have 2 daughters who are both teacher, and one grandson.
I am social worker. In my job, I help young people who are in difficulty.
I live with my family near Avignon since 1974.

We like travelling and making pictures about archaeological and historical sites, landscapes, and portraits......
We like movies: we have lucky to have a art cinema near our home, and we can see movies from whole world in original language (with subtitles of course!).
We like nature : trees, flowers, birds, animals and wild landscapes.
We like music and we like to discover music from other countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some years ago, we met a couple of young Koreans, between Egypt and Jordan. They were travelling around the world during 6 months. We asked :"are you going to France?"; "Yes"; "You are welcome at our home".
Two months later, they came at our home and stayed few days : it was very nice!
They phoned from Argentina then from Korea when they are back at home. And they said: "come to visit us to Korea"; "why not!".
Next year, we went to Korea and we discovered that our friend was pregnant. We were lucky to share these privileged moments.
And the last day of our trip, the baby is born.
The following year, they came back at our home with their young boy. Since, we are keeping in touch with them and we hope to see them soon.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are both learning to speak english more fluently and my wife is learning italian.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share breakfast and dinner, and share some french recipes. We can advice about tourist sites from our region.
