I live in a small village ( Goincourt ) 5 km from Beauvais (and 80 km from PARIS): 10 minutes by car from the train station and 15 minutes drive from Beauvais- Tille Airport .
I have 3 children aged 30 , 27 and 23 years. My eldest son is the father of a small Johan who is 2 years old . I Live with Christian for 20 years , he has 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren.
I work at the hospital of Beauvais and Christian is retired.

J'ai 3 enfants âgés de 30, 27 et 23 ans. Mon fils aîné est papa d'un petit Johan qui a 2 ans. Je vis avec Christian depuis 20 ans qui, lui a 2 filles et 3 petits-enfants.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I knew the couchsurfing with my second son who left to explore the United States for three months by couchsurfing . I find the concept quite nice and with Christian , we wanted to practice , both for discovering country, to accommodate travelers.
J'ai connu le couchsurfing grâce à mon second fils qui est parti à la découverte des Etats Unis pendant 3 mois en faisant du couchsurfing. Je trouve le concept plutôt sympa et avec Christian, nous avons eu envie de le pratiquer, aussi bien pour découvrir des pays, que pour accueillir des voyageurs.

Interests

Travel : go to discover beautiful regions of France that I do not know yet , also visit foreign cities .
Ballads : admire beautiful landscapes in nature, but also to walk in unfamiliar cities.
The garden : maintain lawns , flowers , trees, and soon ... enlarge our chicken coop !
Les voyages : aller à la découverte de belles régions de France que je ne connais pas encore, visiter également des villes étrangères.
Les ballades : admirer de beaux paysages dans la nature, mais aussi me promener dans des villes inconnues.
Le jardin : entretenir la pelouse, les fleurs, les arbres,...et bientôt agrandir notre poulailler !

Music, Movies, and Books

I go to the cinema 1 or 2 times a month to see movies headlining .
I like soul music and also what I heard when I was a teenager : Elton John, Supertramp , Patti Smith, and also France Galle, Michel Polnareff ...
Je vais au cinéma 1 ou 2 fois par mois pour voir les films en tête d'affiche.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In May 2016, Christian and I went to the USA for 4 weeks: first we visited New York for 5 days then we flew to Los Angeles where we rented a car and made 7000 kms to discover 5 different states (California, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming and a little Ohio). We changed places almost every day so we practiced Couchsurfing, a bit of Airbnb and some hotels. We even had to sleep twice in the car ... At our ages, it is an exceptional memory, the most beautiful trip of our life !!
En mai 2016, Christian et moi sommes allés aux USA pendant 4 semaines : nous avons d'abord visité New York pendant 5 jours puis nous avons pris l'avion jusque Los Angeles où là, nous avons loué une voiture et fait 7000 kms pour découvrir 5 états différents (Californie, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming et un peu l'Ohio). Nous avons changé de lieu presque tous les jours et nous avons donc pratiqué du couchsurfing, un peu de Airbnb et quelques hôtels. Nous avons même dû dormir 2 fois dans la voiture... A nos âges, c'est un souvenir exceptionnel, le plus beau voyage de notre vie !!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good night calm in the country and possibly a small dinner if I don't work too !
I can also accompany you by car at the station or at the airport but only if my work schedule allows.
I'm not very good at cooking but I can share a modest meal with my guests and prepare them a good coffee for breakfast.
Une bonne nuit au calme, à la campagne et éventuellement un petit dîner si je ne travaille pas trop !
Je peux aussi vous accompagner en voiture à la gare ou à l'aéroport mais seulement si mes horaires de travail le permette.
Je ne suis pas très douée en cuisine mais je peux partager un modeste repas avec mes hôtes et leur préparer un bon café le matin.
