Overview
About Me
I am a French girl of 24 years old. I have been graduated recently from my French Business School.
I was living in Paris, the most incredible city to live in for some people, but I didn't want to stay there. Simply because Parisian life is stressful, too many people everywhere, in the subway, in the librairies, in the museums, in the streets, in the shops. You have to queue for everything and people can be very rude sometimes.
I come from Grenoble, a city in the French Alpes where life is simple and beautiful.
As I hadn't a precise idea of what job I wanted to do at the end of my internship in Paris, i've decided to come back in Grenoble, to find a job in a restaurant for several months to save money and to prepare my trip in Australia.
More about me: I'm very friendly and open-minded. I've traveled quite a lot thanks to my two exchanges in Poland and United States. I'm very easy to live with, never angry but often hungry :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm not going in Australia to stay with other French who live there. That is not the point of my trip. What I would love to is to meet local people, to learn their way of living, their interests.
I have never done Couchsurfing but I have meet people who did it and it was an incredible experience for them.
As it is a free service, I have the conviction that people are doing it because they love sharing their hobbies and their life.
Interests
I am the kind of person who can't do just one thing. I explain: since I'm little, I couldn't do just one sport so I've done tennis, horse riding, badminton, gymnastic, handball, circus and plenty more. I am too curious to stay focus on on thing.
Otherwise, I love spending time with my familly (I have three brothers and a sister) and seeing my friends.
I like spending time online to make website, to take inspiration from instagram and Pinterest for my futur projects.
And don't know yet about what I would like to do of my life, but what I'm sure is that this trip in Australia will help my to define my projects.

Music, Movies, and Books
I would like to talk about the last book I've read. It is a French book about a women living in Paris, married at 24 and who has a really good job. In appearance, everything is perfect in her life till her daddy passed away.
It is like a Bingo! in her head that telling her she needs to change her life that doesn't look like her. So she decides to leave everything she has: her husband, her job, her flat without any goal at first.
Then, by reading a book she discovers a tribe living with reindeers in the north of Russia, close to Alaska and the decides to meet them and to live with them.
It is a real story of a woman who is lost and who is brave enough to say goodbye to everything she possesses to live her life like she has always wanted: FREE.
This books gave me the strong that I needed to start my trip alone in Australia. I knew that my friends wouldn't believe me, that I was just going crazy and that my parents would disagree too. But for the first time of my life I can do something alone that I really need to know myself better and to enjoy life like I want.
The name of the book is "Là où je continuerai d'être" by Linda Bortoletto but I don't think you can find it in English.
Teach, Learn, Share
Thanks to my studies, I had the chance to travel and to live abroad for several months (I think that is why I want to travel again). I have met so amazing people, learned so many interest things about other cultures that helped me to be more open minded that I want to do this again and again.
I would love to share my love of France too. I love cooking and I would love to teach you how to make bread, crepes or Tartiflette (best winter recipe ever!!!!!).
What I Can Share with Hosts
