I am a marine biologist and software developer, and, due to these jobs, I have lived in different parts of the world. I previously lived in Rovinj (Yugoslavia, now Croatia), St. Augustine (Florida, USA), Los Angeles (California, USA), Berlin (Germany), Namibia (Africa), Mallorca (Spain) .

As a scientist I am deeply interested in philosphy. Nevertheless I am religious and Lutheran. Since I believe, there is only one God for all humans and we share the same dignity, I respect all religions. I hate violence and arrogance.

My hobbies are music (I play piano and keyboards: jazz, blues, rock, ..., and like to listen to salsa, reggae, sometimes classic) and sports (swimming, cycling, soccer). Yes, and - it's a matter of fact - I like dancing, twist, reggae, blues, boogie ... but sometimes classics, too, like slow waltz ....

I am a passionate photographer, too. To be true ... it has become my favorite hobby ... and ... finding interesting photo locations has become a major motivation for travelling!
