ABOUT ME

We`re a young couple, born in Germany we moved to Vienna 5 years ago for our studies. Armin ist studying Biology and Ressource Managment and I am studying Cultural and Social Anthropology.

Our spare leisure time is filled up with activities with our friends or sometimes the two of us just relax and simply do nothing.

We love going to the movies or to a concert and so called alternative music is our favorite. Also we do spent a lot of time outside with our dog Picard.
Furthermore, we're into Indoor Climbing and recently even into Yoga. Last year we attended a dancing course together (Salsa). We enjoy trying a lot of new stuff as well!

During Summer-season we do what everyone does, go for a swim at a lake nearby, having BQ with friends and enjoy the sun. In winter we explore many of Vienna's christmas markets.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is a great opportunity for us to meet new people from all arrond the globe.

There is no preference on our side, we hosted people and we also love to be hosted.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend of ours told us about CS. We first tried it in 2008 when we`ve been to Scotland together and we never regreted it ever since!

It`s a way better kind of travelling than staying in a hotel. Mainly because it makes a big difference to be in contact with some locals!

Music, Movies, and Books

Actually there are a lot of movies we do like, like The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,Inglorious Basterds, Django Unchained, Pans Labyrinth, Atonment, Trance, The Help, Gran Torino...

We both prefer rock music and we like to discover new bands.

We both have to read a lot for university but I (Anna) also enjoy a good novel from time to time. I don`t have a favourite author or book, the only thing I don`t like is all that science fiction stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing in front of the Opera House in Sydney was a dream coming true (Anna).

Spending my vacation on Rarotonga/Cook Islands togther with close friends (Anna).

To stand on the top of the highest mountain in north Africa "Jebel Toubkal" and watch the sun rise (Armin).

Random nights out in Rome with friends (Armin+Anna).

Our trip to New Zealand, where we bought a bus and travelled arround both Islands in 2014 (Armin+Anna)
