Moin, my name is Arne. I've grown up in the northwestern part of Germany, most of my life I lived there, beeing in school and studying. Inbetween I travelled to Australia and met a lot of people with their (more or less :) ) intresting stories. Since then I travelled to various regions, but mostly stayed in hostels, which can be nice if you have a good hostel and a good community, not happend to me too often in Europe sadly.
My main interests are nature conservation with different aspects, ranging from dragonflies to environmental justice. Besides that I love to do various things with my friends, ranging from playing games, going on vacation or just talking.

As I'll be travelling until October I can't host until then.

Ich bin Arne, in Ostfriesland aufgewachsen und jetzt immer mal wieder gern vor allem in Europa unterwegs. Bisher habe ich noch keine Erfahrung mit Couchsurfer gemacht, aber ich habe große Lust drauf. Mir gefällt es sehr über das Leben anderer Menschen zu erfahren, da ich mich ansonsten sehr viel in meiner Blase bewege.
Ich kann mich aber auch sehr gut beschäftigen, wenn es bei dir/euch mal gerade nicht reinpasst. :)

Ich bin allgemein sehr interessiert an Natur, vor allem Insekten, aber meine Interessen spannen noch deutlich weiter. Auch soziale Themen werden mir immer wichtiger.

Ich hoffe ich kann ab Oktober selbst hosten, das muss ich nochmal mit meinen zukünftigen Mitbewohnenden absprechen.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I've decided to use my summer this year to hike through Scandinavia, especially through Norway. I'll be mainly in my tent during this time, but I also want to meet people and sleep under a roof. :) Therefore I decided to get couchsurfing which I never had before. In the past I used workaway, but as I won't work this summer, couchsurfing seems to be the best option for me. I'm looking forward to the experiences!

Música, películas y libros

Hard to say, but I liked the biograhies of two former pro tennis players (A. Petkovic and A. Agassi) quite a lot. I also liked "In die andere Richtung jetzt. Eine Reise durch Ostafrika" written by N. Kermani. But genereally I don't have one specific genre, I often read the books that I find in book exchange shelves. Regading music, at the moment I listen to Ren, Hilltop Hoods often, but it changes often depending on my mood. :)

I love to go to nature and tell people about the things we saw, but I also love to learn about animals, nature conservation, edible plants, ... And of course anzthing else. I like to do stuff in the garden and I'm eager to learn anything new.
