We're a married couple: Goos and Arno. We work hard but we also enjoy life in our city Amsterdam.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If we travel, we like to meet locals that are proud of the place where they live and can tell us / show us where to go to besides the obvious tourist traps.

We like to see the bars/restaurants where you hang out and meet each other for a drink and a chat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We know from friends and our sister (in law) who is very experienced in CouchSurfing that CS is a great way to meet new people in your own place and to meet locals in the places that you visit.

So far, we have used CS only to meet two really nice guys in Jordan, when we were on holiday there. It added an extra dimension to our holiday and we really would not have missed it!

Interests

We like living in an international city as Amsterdam is; to meet our friends for a nice dinner at home or in a restaurant, in a bar or when going to the movies or a concert.

We like to travel and go frequently on (short) holidays. We travel together or with friends. We love to see new places and we like sunny places :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Of course our wedding a few years ago, in Amsterdam, with friends and family, was amazing! And if we look back at our holidays, we enjoyed especially our holidays in Morocco (a roadtrip of 3 weeks), Andalucia (Spain) and California/Arizona/Utah.
