ABOUT ME

I grew up in a bilingual (English/French) household, which meant that from an early age I was always a little more aware of the world outside the UK than your typical Brit ;) after 21 years of living, loving, working and playing in the UK, I've decided to take the big step and move to Berlin. I'm currently searching for an apartment, for cool people to hang out with and for any work that may come my way. I'm easygoing, fairly laidback and I enjoy crazy parties as much as quiet nights in with a film. My interests are many and varied, so message me for a chat if you want to know more :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I will be just surfing around Berlin until a living situation presents itself. But I am clean and tidy, I cook well and I'm good company.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no real couchsurfing experience besides visiting friends and aquaintances whilst travelling. Of those experiences, all were good but there's too many to list!

So I love music and sound of course, with my favourite styles being rock, metal, most electronic dance music, a bit of hip hop and some tango occasionally ;)I like to go clubbing with friends if the music is good, and I like to watch football on the weekends. My spare time is mostly filled by either reading or juggling (which I'm not very good at, but improving).

音乐、电影和书籍

I suppose my favourite band would have to be Zero 7, because its great easy-going jazz that you can leave on in the background, but at the same time it's interesting enough to hook you into listening more deeply. I don't watch too many films but I did enjoy Big Fish and The Big Lebowski most recently. The books I read tend to be either fantasy or sci-fi, but occasionally I will pick up something like Freakonomics or Through The Language Glass.

I suppose the most amazing thing I've done was to finally leave the mother country and make the attempt to live abroad. Not very impressive to some people but for me it's been a real eye-opener so far.

Well I can teach you some English or French, and I'm pretty handy in the kitchen, but that would be more cooking together than any real teaching or learning going on. I can show you the basics of juggling, and if you REALLY want I can explain to you in depth how microphones, speakers, digital sampling and maybe synthesis works. What I would really like to learn (don't laugh) is if there's anyone out there who can dance well, maybe they can show me a few steps :p
