ABOUT ME

Grew up travelling in Africa. Lived in Zimbabwe, Mauritania and Tanzania. Parents were develoment workers. Returned to the Netherlands when I was 16, finished off school and studies. Now working as a probation officer within an organisation specialized in treating people with drug/alcohol and/or gambeling problems. Have had little time on my hands due to work and studies, so travelling has been on the background lately. Guess I'm a friendly guy. Enjoy a drink once in a while, and am a huge music fan.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm planning to start up the travels again, and meet new people. I hate acting like your one in a million tourist, and crave for the "local" experience. So the lans are there to couch surf. That means that I have a couch available as well for the needy! Keep in mind that I don't live in a lively and exciting area, this is pure calm, rest and Dutch coutryside....

Like I said, I've travelled the world as a kid, and it's like a virus! Been too Tanzania, Mauritania, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Eritrea, South Africa, Slovenia, France, Germany, England, Denmark and Iceland.....
