HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I primarily would like to use the site for information gathering. Before I go to a place, I'd like to find out as much as I can. I normally go about with a solid plan A and a couple of contingencies.

I'd be glad to host or surf though, assuming the time and opportunity is present. I have a friend at work who's shared a lot of stories about friends he met through this site and I'd love to have my own set one of these days.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I mostly bunk with friends and relatives over the years. I didn't have a travel-bone before so I rarely had the chance to meet new people ala-couchsurfing style.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During the younger years of my life, I decided to move to Cebu for work. It's crazy because I was presented the option a week before I had to leave and I don't know anyone from the place. Thankfully, the experience was one of the best in my life. I met awesome people, who until not are my friends. From having everything paid for, having helpers at home, and not having to worry about anything other than where I will spend my money, I dove in to an experience that helped me grow up and be who I am right now. :)
