ABOUT ME

Carola:
I don´t like writing about myself... So just some words to what I study: westslavistic languages (so far slovak and polish), political science and history of eastern europe. Apart from that I have a life next to uni, too. I love meeting friends for a beer or wine, listening to music, reading, playing cello, singing, going for a walk...

Maxi:

I moved from my hometown Rostock at the lovely Baltic Sea to Leipzig to study social studies and English as a teacher student... "in private" i love reading, cooking, playing all sorts of games with friends, movie nights, walks at the beach (home, sweet home), etc. I'm also with the local erasmus initiative and take care that students from many different countries find their way around Leipzig.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been to very cool cs meetings in wroclaw, Poland, during our erasmus time there, met lots of awesome couchsurfers during our travels, surfed a few couches and have now, finally, got the space to host more people, as well... looking forward to it...

Of course we love to travel. We also share the love for old books, gingerbread icecream, flea markets...

Música, películas y libros

too many to list. Carola is really into anything polish/slovakian/czech, Maxi tries to find new cool stuff all the time. And generally: There are still sooo many good movies out there waiting to be watched, so many books in our shelves waiting to be read and so much music out there waiting to be discovered.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Carola: Living abroad and getting to know different languages, cultures and people.

Maxi: feeling that guy strapped to my back jump out of that plane and the minute afterwards before he activated the parachute => sky-diving on a lovely sunny day over Abel Tasman National Park in New Zealand
