About Me

Hi. I'm Arran. I'm 21 years old this year. I'm an accounting student here in the big city Kuala Lumpur. I come from a small beach town. I cant wait to graduate. Then I can start my backpacking journey throughout the world for about 7 months. I plan to visit 30 countries on that trip. I'm dreading the working life. Can't imagine being in the office for the next 20 years.

I love to travel. I bring my saxophone everywhere with me. I'm always busking to fund my travels. I love meeting new people. Try out something new. I get bored of doing the same thing over and over again. I can be talkative at times. Another thing is that I'm always smiling. Don't worry be happy

**UPDATE JAN 2023
Hey guys . Yea . I successfully completed my 7 months trip throughout the world in 2017. Currently, Im a finance manager.

I love meeting new people and having new experiences. I recently picked up scuba diving and surfing . Let’s dive together if u r interested . I dive at perhentian, tioman, redang and tenggol.

I would like to learn skateboard and be a better surfer . Would also love to learn new foreign dishes to cook at home. I also would like to be better in yoga.

Currently travelling .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Plan to meet new people and exchange cultures with people across the world. To have a better understand of the world that we live in by sharing new memories with people. Taking the road less travelled. No a big fan of doing the mainstream stuff. I want an adventure that I shall never forget.

Interests

I love the outdoors. I love going for jungle-trekking, swimming, the beach, and waterfalls. I try to make it a point to go jungle trekking at least once a week. There many jungles around my hometown. I live literally 10 mins walk from the beach. As you can see, there are too many outdoor activities to do here. A great place to live.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on a trip to Myanmmar. It was amazing. Everything was planned on the spot. Managed to visit ancient temples, beautiful sunsets and hiking to an enormous waterfall.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook Malaysian food. There a few easy to prepare dishes that I can prepare. In Malaysia, food is everything. I can also teach you to do your taxes.

I would love to learn about your culture and history. I would like to know what card games do you play.

I shall share amazing stories with you. I have a lot of stories to tell since I have been to quite a number of countries already. I hope to share a good laugh and a great time

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share everything with Hosts. What is mine is yours. We live in this world together. There is no reason for selfishness. I bring my saxophone everywhere with me. I could play you some jazz, blues and pop. Plus, I can help with your taxes. 2 things you can never escape. Death and the taxman.
