ABOUT ME

My wife Andrea and I love the outdoors and exploring new places. We are pretty easy going and enjoy meeting new people. I grew up in Bend, Oregon, she grew up in Keene, New Hampshire and we met in Jackson Hole where we both enjoyed the mountains and all the outdoors had to offer. We now live in Bozeman, Montana where Andrea runs a child care and I am working to start a new technology company.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am fairly new to couchsurfing. I've hosted a few people in Jackson Wyoming. I would like to meet new people during my travels.

Interests

In no particular order: climbing, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, hiking, hunting, and pretty much all other outdoor activities. As far as indoor hobbies I enjoy cooking and tinkering with and fixing things. I suppose that's my engineering background coming out...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fishing for rainbow trout in the wilderness outside a bush village in Alaska. Grizzly bears all around us that didn't care we were using their river as long as we didn't bother them. And the biggest trout I've ever seen.
The Rhine valley in Germany, especially staying in the hostel/castle in Bacharach. What a beautiful spot! And the castles are awesome!
