COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I used to live in my own place, I was able to host for a short while. Then I moved to London and lost the ability to host (for now) but i loved the experience of welcoming travelers into my home!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music wise - either something to chill me out (think Morcheeba, Asaf Avidan or James Bay) or good old house / dance music for a night out (or driving!).

Movies - well, most things but my top 3 consists of Into The Wild, The Untouchables (the French one) and Three Idiots.

Books are my favourite! Always reading something. I loved Jane Eyre, but I believe all travelers should read Shantaram!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Of course there are hundreds of experiences that are special - but one which will always stand out as one of those classic 'travel moments' was on Langkawi island in Malaysia where, after a long evening of conversation on the beach with new friends from my hostel, I found myself swimming in the sea at 5am amongst glowing plankton! It was unreal, like swimming in electric blue glitter. A moment I will never forget!
