French engineering student who just graduated, I am taking a gap year to travel and meet as many many people and cultures as possible. In particular, I aim to go to Asia, which is the only continent I have never visited ! (sorry Antarctica, I am not counting you here :P)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I talked about my project with friends who have been using CS for years, and they immediately recommended it to me. I really think it could be the best way to really discover the culture of the country I am visiting.
For my travel project, I will probably be away from France most of the time, but would be glad to host you when I am in Paris ! :)

Books : Bernard Weber, Jean-Claude Mourlevat, and poetry (Victor Hugo and Charles Baudelaire). I actually didn't read much non-french book, but I'm aiming to change this in the next couple months !
Films : So many... Cloud Atlas, Matrix, Kill Bill, Le vent se lève, Mononoke Princess, Inception, Imitation Game, ...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Not "an extraordinary" life experience, but several very cool ones : lucid dreams. (It is when you're dreaming and you're aware of it, so you can basically control everything in your dream)
I am very much interested in this, and usually succeed to have a lucid dream every couple months. I would love to exchange about this subject if you're also interested in !

Did you know ? When you watch the stars and they seem to twinkle, it is not due to them, but rather to the Earth atmosphere : it is a bit unhomogeneous (some places have denser air than others, and these places moves quick), so it modifies a bit the trajectory of light.

Culture, smile, and food are important. But to be honest, what I love are the good talks ! I really like when people express freely what they think, without any fear of being judged.
