ABOUT ME

We are Claire (spanish/french) and Florian (french). Old friends from France traveling through south America !

Claire is an exchange student in Buenos Aires and Florian is doing amateur videoclips in Paris.
We love being here and get to know people. We've been through a ton of hostels, casas and cool places, finding friendly and welcoming people and end up with tons of memories, friends and experiences !

Claire has been living for the past six months in a commune house where she lived with people from all around the world. I (Florian), have been to many places in Europe and the world, meeting all sorts of people, and I'm not done traveling !
We love to share experiences, meals, music, dances, drinks...

We are friendly, curious and we sometimes tell good jokes !

We are in brasil for the next three weeks, and we just want to make the most out of the experience.

PHILOSOPHY

I think to good thing about "personal philosophy" is that's it can be renewed every day throughout experiences and meeting people. That's why the only thing that really matters is trying to have a new look on everything you live and wake up everyday willing to learn more and keep moving forward !

The furthest you can go is when you don't know where you're going.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We participate in : conversations, meals, doing our part, I make a decent pingpong partner and Claire is a pretty great cook !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Claire travelled in january with two friends, couchsurfing through Chile. It turned out to be such a rich experience for the three girls !

They got to meet so many people, many of them turned out te become very good friends and they got te see chile from the inside and come back with great memories.

For me (Florian), I have never actually used any couchsurfing network but my experiences have brought me to travel a lot and enjoy sharing houses, lifestyles and great times around the world (United states, China kenya, marroco, hostels in European cities...).

Centres d'intérêt

Claire: I really like movies.
I especially enjoy the whole french "nouvelle vague" movement. I'm actually taking a class on latino-american cinema, and I'm discovering a brand new way to treat problems, compared to the way it's done in Europa. I love it !
Also, I really love dancing : classic, modern, jazz, rock, salsa.. I still lack samba !

Florian : I love cinema as well. I'm a huge fan of Tarantino's movies and the whole genre associated. Apart, from that, I love traveling and all sorts of music. Any sort of art that's really creative is part of my "center of interest" even if I don't know it yet !

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

What struck Claire the most is how sincere and open can people be all around the world, even though they can be really different and come from oposite sides of the planet.

To me (florian), the most amazing thing have been the whales of canada. And Star Wars.
