Howdy! We’re Artem and Alexandra — an open-minded couple from St. Petersburg inspired by the idea of Couchsurfing.
For several years, we were travelers ourselves — we explored many countries across Europe and Asia and collected countless stories and memories along the way.
Now we’d love to experience Couchsurfing from another side — by hosting travelers in our home.
We also have a lovely cat living with us — so please keep that in mind in case you have allergies.

I’ve always loved discovering new places and learning something new about the world and people.
Couchsurfing has shown me how kind, curious, and creative people can be.
Now that I’m more settled, I’m excited to welcome guests, share my travel stories, and learn from others’ experiences.

Я всегда любил открывать новые места и узнавать людей.
Каучсерфинг показал мне, сколько в мире добрых и интересных людей.
Теперь, когда я немного осел, мне хочется принимать гостей, делиться историями о путешествиях и узнавать чужие.

About Alexandra / Обо мне (Александра)

Hey, I’m Alexandra — an English tutor living in St. Petersburg.
I’m passionate about literature, languages (a bit of Italian and German), nature, and gardening (there are fresh tomatoes on my windowsill!).
I also love knitting — my boyfriend proudly wears mittens made by me :)
Traveling has taught me that the world is full of kind and inspiring people, and now I want to bring a bit of that energy into our home by hosting guests.

Увлекаюсь литературой, языками (немного итальянский и немецкий), природой и садоводством (у меня на окне растут помидоры!).
Обожаю вязать — мой парень носит варежки, связанные мной :)
Путешествия научили меня, что мир полон добрых людей, и теперь я хочу принимать гостей, чтобы делиться этой энергией.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We just want to try hosting someone — see how it feels and whether it fits us.
We’re open and friendly, but we also value our personal space and ask guests to respect our home and boundaries.
We don’t see Couchsurfing as a free hostel — it’s more about sharing experiences, stories, and good company.

Мы просто хотим попробовать принять кого-то — посмотреть, как это вообще ощущается и насколько нам подойдёт.
Мы открытые и гостеприимные, но личные границы для нас важны, просим уважать нас и наш дом.
Каучсерфинг для нас — это не хостел, а способ пообщаться, обменяться опытом и, возможно, подружиться.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once went on a 1,400 km hitchhiking trip.
That journey made me realize how open the world really is — if you stay kind and curious, people will always meet you halfway and help when you need it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Recently learned to juggle — it’s easier than it looks! Or we can just practice English or Russian (I don’t know why you need this crazy language, haha).
