About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission for now is to develop myself in all possible directions, mastering new skills and try new things. There is nothing a person can not learn or master, so I do my best to do more and talk less.

ABOUT ME

I am a very easy-going and a friendly type of person who is very open to new people with different views and mindset, cultures and religion, etc. I actually appreciate that we are all different. I adore traveling and learning something new about myself. Challenges is what really makes me who I am, that's why I like complicated types of travels like hiking, cycling, hitchhiking, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all connected with the planet and the Universe, and we are connected with each other in some way, since we originated from space.

Every situation happens for a reason, and every action is meaningful.

I am thinking Karma is one of the religious things that makes sense. I am a cosmopolitan myself and even a child of Space, but I also appreciate every country's specific things - It's cool we have much to share with each other!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have started hosting people since the times of being in a student organization BEST. Since then I have hosted lots of people from CS (from Ukraine, Poland and Spain) and have myself traveled to many close European countries. I even had one friend from Poland who stayed at my place back in 2013 via CS, and we still visit each other from time to time.

CS idea is just awesome - why not helping people to offer a host for one night stay in exchange for a good talk with sharing experiences and stories?

Interests

Music (especially in different languages), films, cycling, morning jogging, studying languages, reading books, exploring new and old places from a new perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books

Three films/TV series I liked the most in the last couple of years:
- Twin Peaks
- The Departed
- Sunshine (Sci-Fi Movie)

Books:
- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry - Terre des hommes (Wind, Sand and Stars)
- Isaac Asimov - The Gods Themselves
- J.K. Rowling - Harry Potter sequel

Music
I have strong relations with music I am listening to. I have a magical manner how i discover new music, but the thing is am very peaceful to any genre of music, if it really touches me. However, not every music stays for long in my list of favourite songs. Everything changes and evolves, as well as music tastes. And this is great.
Three bands (musicians) I always like to listen are Radiohead, Grizzly Bear and Bat For Lashes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving to Lithuania for half a year and having a couple of huge spontaneous cycling trips in one year!

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you Russian or Ukrainian and share mu list of films and favorite music!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some interesting stories from my student years, volunteering, travelling, hitchhiking, hiking and cycle travelling experiences :) I am certain there is unlimited number of thing I can share, but most of all is sharing experiences, which broadens new horizons of other people.

I may also cook some traditional dishes and teach some Russian/Ukrainian :)

Countries I’ve Visited
