ABOUT ME

I'm from Kuantan, Malaysia but currently residing in Mainz, Germany. I'm a literary scholar and work broadly on diaspora, migration, life writing and home. Before I re-entered the academic world I slaved away in the corporate world for several years as a copywriter in Kuala Lumpur.

I travel not just to see famous sights and monuments, but more importantly to meet and get to know people from different backgrounds and learn from their cultures. I love promoting my country to people who've never been ( I think I could be the tourism ambassador for Malaysia). I will fight whoever who doesn't agree that Malaysian food is the best!
