About Me
Hello everyone !
I'm a walking addict who goes on hike whenever is possible.
I just finished a one year trip walking from Paris to Batumi and back by bus and auto-stop. I'm hoping to give back to the CS community as much as possible. Please read my place description. I only have a tiny place, and it's hard for me to host. If you can find someone else, it's probably better!
I prefer to host people who have done slow travel before (walking, biking) or is currently traveling like this. This is because I feel bad hosting regular tourists in such bad conditions. One day hopefully I'll be in a better place and I can host more people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet the locals, that makes the trip more interesting. Couchsurfing really improved my experience. I hope I will have my own place to be able to give back to the community soon.
Fuck all the people who think this app is Tinder. You have participated in making CS feeling unsafe for so many people on top of driving away most women. I'd rather die in the cold than being hosted by a cringelord that only has female review.

Music, Movies, and Books
I was very inspired by a book called "La Horde du Contrevent", a novel that unfortunately is still not translated in English to this day.
A good recommandation would be "The Climber" a 17 volume manga that talks about a climbing prodigy whose dream is to climb the K2. The mange explores a lot the social aspect of hardcore sports practice (how do you get money ? The friend you lose in the mountains etc.). Go read it, it's easily foundable online as scans.
