I love meeting people and just talking. I want to get out and see a bit of this big beautiful world we have. You can learn so much - and be so amazed by others - just from a simple chat. Other people are the best.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

It seems like a really good idea. You get to meet people, have the insight of that local knowledge, and have a different experience of a place.

I remember hearing all these stories as I was growing up of families and houses that would have a 'renter' or 'lodger', or just be helping out whoever was passing through. It involved letting someone, who was a bit of a stranger, into your home out of your own compassion. You could hear the most incredible stories, and meet people who had done so many things. I'd loved to have that experience, have my own stories and meet people who have theirs.

I'm a big fan of music. Play guitar, saxophone, that sort of thing. I love surfing - but I'm sorry to say I'm not very good at it (I'll keep trying to get there though!).

I love all types of music really. You can't go wrong with Jack Johnson, but Rise Against (in a bit of a different vein) is my favourite band.

I'm a sucker for action movies. The more predictable the plot, the more intense the fight scenes, the better.

I absolutely adore "Catch-22" by Joseph Heller; it's a book I'll never be tired of reading. Another one of my favourites is 'Fight Club'.
