Hi there! My name is Arthur, I'm 20 years old and I'm currently a student at the University of Liverpool. I study History and French, and I love travelling, meeting new people and learning about different cultures, languages and the history of the world. I've visited a fair few countries in Europe and Asia, but I'd love to see more of the world as well as revisiting and getting to know some of the countries I've already been to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking for an inexpensive (as I am still a student) way of travelling, where I can get more of an authentic experience with locals in the places I'd like to visit. I'm not sure if my student accomodation is up for hosting much at the moment, but when I do get a place of my own I'd love to host people that are looking to explore my home city - I love being a tour guide for my friends and family when they come to visit me so would enjoy doing the same for any new friends!

I love Lana del Rey, folk music, quite a bit of pop music and country!

Currently I'm working my way through the Marvel superhero films, but I tend to prefer historical films or psychological thrillers.

I love historical fiction and books about history, but I also enjoy a good novel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 8 I lived in China, and I toboganned down the Great Wall, which was exhilarating!!
