About Me

Travel bug for Life!

Please take time to read about me, house guest preference, house rules, etc. if you agrees and willing to follow the house rules, will happy to host you. 😊

Signed up on CS back in 2022 but never had time to explore due to work commitments, from Aug 25 started my CS journey.

Earlier from Aug 25 to Nov 25 I was on career break, so hosted few guests from different countries. Recently switched to my Job again and now I can host people on weekends,me and my husband both are working from office so weekday hosting won’t be possible.

I’m a slow traveller who loves taking my time to really get to know a place. I’m not in a race to tick countries off a list — for me, it’s all about soaking in the experience. I enjoy exploring the history, culture, traditions, art, and local markets of every new city I visit. Every place has its own story, and I love discovering it at my own pace.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here because I love meeting people who see the world with curious eyes and open hearts.

For me, travel isn’t just about landmarks — it’s about conversations, shared laughter, and those little cultural exchanges that make every meeting special.

Hosting travellers feels a bit like travelling without packing a bag — every guest brings a new story, a different perspective, and sometimes even a new recipe (which is always a bonus 😄).

I’m a slow traveller at heart, and I believe Couchsurfing is the best way to build genuine connections, swap travel tales, and make friends from every corner of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back in 2017, when solo travelling in India — especially for women — wasn’t exactly common, I decided to shake things up a bit. I convinced my parents, quit my MNC job, packed my bag (with no return ticket!) and set off on my first solo adventure across India.

What was supposed to be a 21-day trip turned into the beginning of a much bigger journey. That experience opened up a whole new way of seeing the world — through people, culture, history, and everyday stories. And honestly, I haven’t stopped since!

Teach, Learn, Share

Hosting international travellers will be a beautiful learning journey for me. I know I’ll start seeing my own culture, traditions, and daily life through a fresh lens. The way travellers notice small details about India — things I might overlook — will remind me how special and vibrant my surroundings truly are.

Through conversations, I’ll learn new perspectives, hear inspiring stories, and maybe even pick up bits of different languages. Sharing meals will be one of my favourite parts — I’ll get to try new recipes, explore unique flavours, and share our own Indian traditions in return.

I’ll also pick up plenty of travel tips and ideas that will inspire my own adventures. More than anything, hosting will make me more open-minded, empathetic, and aware of the beautiful diversity of people around the world.

For me, hosting won’t just be about offering a place to stay — it’ll be about meaningful cultural exchange and building genuine connections that last well beyond the stay. It’ll be like travelling without leaving home.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m always happy to share my travel experiences, but more than that, I can offer warm hospitality to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

You can expect cozy and decent sleeping arrangements, delicious vegetarian meals, and plenty of local tips to help you explore the city like a local.

Whether it’s sightseeing suggestions, hidden gems, or the best cafés around, I’m here to help. I can also share stories and insights from my own travels across India — from what to see and do to little things that make a trip truly special.

If you’d like a hand planning parts of your itinerary in India, I’m happy to guide you — though full India itineraries are probably better left to tools like ChatGPT 😉
