About Me
Hello!
Immediately after graduating from Grinnell College, I began my post-grad plans as a Thomas J. Watson fellow. This fellowship grants me a year of travel researching a project of my choice. My project revolves around how soccer/football can provide recognition for minorities, and address social issues present in society. This project was inspired by my love for soccer/football and culture. So that is what I am up to!
I love a full range of music genres and am always looking for new tunes to put on repeat. I'll always be interested in learning how to play a new instrument as well.
When I was younger I wanted to become a film director (hey! it could still happen), but now I've resided with being an avid fan. Film can teach a lot about a culture, so I like to watch films of countries I visit, even if there are no subtitles.
Food brings people together. I like to seek out the most delicious hole-in-the-wall places wherever I go. The places where locals go to eat and drink.
I'm kind, happy, and adventurous. I look forward to meeting many people during my travels and hope to make life long connections.
