ABOUT ME

I am an only child. My parents live in Las Vegas, which is nice. My list of jobs is long: grocery sacker,dishwasher,cartpusher,delivery driver,worker in a battery factory,cashier,forklift driver,temp worker,airman in the U.S. Airforce,waiter and presently baggage handler. I am interested in a whole bunch of things. Traveling has to be closer to the top. I have been drawing for most of my life and spent a couple of years in college as an art major. My dad got me into model trains(not toys)but I live in an apartment so it is kinda hard to set them up. Of course I enjoy movies but doesn't everyone? I was pretty good at running when I was younger,could run long distances,pretty fast, at an even pace. Does anybody run? I need to get back into it. I live in LAS VEGAS. The Strip in pretty cool but I don't spend a lot of time down there. I'll show you around,take you to some shows. There is so much more to Vegas than the strip, like hiking and going out in the desert looking for fossils.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe I am fairly open-minded. Maybe I will change my mind, maybe not. I don't think everything should change or stay the same. I am not the biggest fan of Bush but I am totally anti-Osama bin Laden. I am not anti-Islam. I just don't think people should get their heads chopped off, this isn't the 7th century.

I just started. I would like to host, meet for coffee, show you around town. Also I would like to meet other people when I travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have hosted about 5 people. I am looking foward to hosting many more and doing some couchsurfing myself.

Variety is the spice of life. I enjoy westerns, action, comedy, drama, classics, whatever. About any kind of music is good to listen to except rap. Yuk!! As far as books, biographies, business/finance, comics,history, sci-fi. Sometimes I like going to the library and checking out books on subjects I may not normally look for.

Early in life I lived in Jeddha, Saudi Arabia. My dad was an aircraft mechanic and worked on the king's airplanes. Those were two and a half very good years. In 1999 I backpacked around Europe for a month without having any reservations, just roaming when the mood struck me. I went to the train station and looked on the board and hopped on a train. It was relieving to have no schedule to be tied to.
