ABOUT ME

I live in New York City in the neighborhood of Astoria, Queens. Manhattan is just a few subway stops away (10 min). I am a college administrator by day and a life coach and artist in my free time. As an artist I work mostly with photography and photo based projects. I grew up on a farm in Nebraska and now life in one of the largest urban centers in the world. I have dreams of one day living part-time in New York and part-time in Hawaii. Open to suggest for doing this. I am a single gay man who lives in my one bedroom apartment with my cat, Frida. (and no I am not one of those crazy cat ladies)

PHILOSOPHY

We all need to ask ourselves "How important is it?" more often. We often spend to my time and metal energy on things that are just not that important. Time is to valuable to not be spent well. I often ask myself if it is more important to be right or be happy. I try to chose "happy". Also, never stop learning and exploring. Life is to be experienced.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was recently introduced to CS and have now joined. I anticipate participating by meeting others and eventually hosting other CSers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to this so my experience is limited however I am excited about meeting new and interesting people here.

Intereses

I enjoy dinner and hanging out with my friends. I am a fairly low-key sort of guy. I enjoy new experiences and meeting new people. I spend time working on my photo and art programs when I get the chance (and the spirit moves me.) I can now say that the gym and fitness are new one of my interest. I have started a fitness routine and have lost 40 pounds in the last year. I have also just started yoga. I have a major love affair with Hawaii and Hawaiian culture. And any ocean beach is one of the most serene, calming and spiritual places for me.
