ABOUT ME

Laura: I'm on a never-ending quest for pleasure and inner peace. Learning is my life hobby. I have a penchant for spending ridiculous amounts of time at local coffee shops, looking at art on stumbleupon, and scheming my next move while simultaneously trying to enjoy the moment. I'm a budding foodie and love to cook/host dinner parties. Art and music are my biggest loves.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're new to this whole couch surfing thing, but have always wanted to give it a go. While we aren't living together, we do share a love of travel and will embark on our first adventure to Chicago together in the fall. As far as hosting, since neither of us have adequate couches (or spare beds) at this time, we are unable to provide overnight stays. We can, however, show you all that KC has to offer (including rare LGBT sightings).

Interests

Boycotting the gas guzzling monstrosity that is commonly known as the American Hummer, making every day into a piece of art, dabbling in the written word, attending theatre performances because of Bridget's hard-on for Shakespeare, and satisfying our addiction to fondue (and sushi, and chocolate, and Reese's Puffs cereal).

Bridget also has an embarrassing collection of animated films from the 80's and 90's. Laura happens to have an embarrassing collection of movies she has not seen due to her conservative (but lovable) mother.
