About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet people and learn from them is my goal. There is nothing like sharing experiences and making friends with people from different places and cultures.

ABOUT ME

I am a very quiet person, I love to read and I am currently writing a book. I know São Paulo quite well, although not when it comes to pubs and places to go out at night. I used to play piano in my free time, but I am not sure if my fingers can do it after such a long absence of practice.

My love for learning languages was born in 2003, when I took my English studies seriously. After that, I have studied Italian and I am starting French as well.

Unfortunately I still have not a place on my own to host people, but that will change at the end of this year. I can't wait to be able to host travelers and listen to their stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to meet people who comes to São Paulo, to help them and to learn from them, which is basically the goal of Couch Surfing after all. As soon as I have my own place, I will gladly host travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met couchsurfers in São Paulo a few times and helped to settle people on friends' houses. It was a quite new experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books is something I simply love, and I read them one after another. I barely watch tv or listen to music, I do it most of the time when I need inspiration to write.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lost count of how many times I broke something playing soccer, which I love. Travelling to Europe was kind of exciting, too, and I studied a lot to get where I am today, with a job that I love. I created a few websites on my own, and I used to administer a language exchange message board called Spell, which no longer exists for lack of time to take care of it, unfortunately.

I gave lectures and talks on conferences (even abroad), joined computer programming championships (and took third place once) and I still don't know Brazil as much as I would like, but I will.

Countries I’ve Visited

Chile, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Switzerland, United States
