ABOUT ME

My name is Vincenzo, I'm italian and since April 2011 I'm living in the land of the baguettes.

Honestly, I think i'm a really cool person.
I can probably be the best person in the world, but I'm too lazy, like everyone i guess.
I like to speak with people I feel similar to me about everything, and share my thoughts and interests.
I'm really funny, sometimes weird, always ready to have fun and I can adapt to any type of situation.
...although there are always exceptions.

Anyway I think is really easy to speak about the positive aspects of our personality, so I would also add something negative: I can be lunatic, sometimes too much frankly and sometimes I get bored of the people really really fast.
I don't like boring conversations about wheater, which kind of food you like, football and why in Italy we have such a good city like Venice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host people if the request is coming in a reasonable amount of time before the arrival.

I can be available to show the city and/or meet up with the people who are coming here for their first time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had few experiences as couchsurfer, even if on the website you can't see them all.
Even as sidewalksurfer and pavementsurfer.
I also took part of some meetings of couchsurfers in the city where i'm living right now.
I met couchsurfers during my trips too.
We are basically everywhere.

Interests

I love to listen to music and play guitar, writing is also another activity that I do to express myself.
I also enjoy make short movies and paint.
Let's say that I'm really interested in art in general, is more easy.

But the truth is that I do not have any talent for these things, I don't even like what I do, so I always try to sell myself in the best possible way.
Most of the time it works.

I'm also interested in informatic stuff.
There is a little nerd hide really, really deep inside me.

Tv Shows : Breaking Bad, Scrubs, Twin Peaks, South Park, Californication, How I Met Your Mother and lots of japanese anime.

Music : Micah P. Hinson, Radiohead, Neutral Milk Hotel, Portishead, Beirut, Alt-J, Interpol, The Beatles, Wu Lyf, Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, and so on...really, really too many.

Books : Charles Bukowski, Chuck Palahniuk, Irvine Welsh, Katherine Dunn and myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I found the suit of Santa Claus in the basement of my grandmother when I was a kid.

I'm also really afraid of Marylin Monroe, but this is a long story.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to meet creative people, who can share my passions and funny people.
Make me laugh and i will probably love you forever.
But I also know that I can learn a lot even from people who are completely different from me.
In most of the cases they are the best, because from my point of view they are like "mirrors": you can see your reflection through them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer food, drinks, horrible jokes.
Sometimes toilet paper, if I am in the mood.
