Hi there. My name is Artūrs (Arthur) and I consider myself as a friendly and open minded guy. I am new in couchsurfing and hosting and really would love to meet different people from all over the world. I used to be an Erasmus student for one year in the Netherlands, I have lived in international environment and really miss that.

Meeting people with different background, with different mind-set and life style is what truly enriches my experience and personality.

If you expect a host to be like a travel agent showing around all the tourist places and talking about the history and stuff I might not be the perfect one to choose. Of course I might show you some must see places in Riga or tell how to find them, but for the rest of your stay be ready to join my usual activities, like hanging out with my friends, going outside Riga for barbeque and more. I believe this is the main idea of couchsurfing and the best way of cultural exchange.

And also if you are interested only in bed and shower it might be better to book hotel or hostel.

I can only host from Friday to Monday (weekend) because of the work. But there might be an exeptions as well.
