I lived in Afghanistan for a year working for the UN. Clearly, I have an innate ability to jump at crazy opportunities (*see Antarctica). After grad school (MBA) most went the corporate route. And me, well, two days later I was on a plane to Kabul. It’s still one of the best experiences of my life. Oh, and I can now shoot an AK-47. ;)
